The Salon Assistant is to aid management, other team members and clients as directed to ensure the smooth running of the salon and comfort of clients at all times. Training will be given on the job and be supplemented by additional training both in and out of the salon. Responsible to The salon manager, and always maintaining a close working relationship with everyone on the team. Responsibilities • You will be trained and have responsibilities in the following; service skills, cleaning duties, laundry, the making and presentation of refreshments, gowning clients, basic product knowledge, the range of services and prices we offer, shampooing, massage, treatment application, basic color application, basic cutting techniques, communication skills, facilities maintenance, health and safety issues. 

Jr. Stylist is require licensure and most require graduation from a formal training program at a state-approved beauty or cosmetology school. 

  Specifically, the hair stylist is expected to:
• Market themselves and grow their business        
• Complete required Associate Training Program and administrative tasks
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Control expenses
• Consistently exhibit and develop technical competence As a hair stylist, you will be held accountable for these key areas.  Successful performance will be measured by meeting or exceeding established minimum productivity requirements.  
Qualifications:
• Valid current cosmetology license.
• Ability to work in a dynamic salon environment.
• Good time management skills, good judgment, and the ability to multi-task.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with Salon Manager, salon staff, Supervisor, and clients.
• Ability to read, digest and analyze various reports.
• Mathematical skills to accurately compute and complete required functions.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.  

  The Hair Stylist is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while providing the full range of hair care services. Primarily perform hair cutting and styling, though they may perform other beauty services for clients. All states require licensure for stylists, and most require graduation from a formal training program at a state-approved beauty or cosmetology school. Certificate and associate's degree programs in cosmetology are another option for aspiring stylists.

  The Guest Reservation Specialist is the most important position in Stella’s Daughter Salon & Wellness Center SERVICE MISSION. This person’s job is to uphold and aid in fulfillment in the Stella’s Daughter Salon & Wellness Center Mission Statement. The Guest Reservation Specialist has the first and last contact with our guests.  You can make or break the SD Experience!    

 Basic Function The basic function of the Guest Reservation Specialist is to provide support for the stylist and Owner.   This includes servicing and reception of guests, sales of retail products, up-sells of the Salon Services, cleaning and upkeep of Stella’s Daughter Salon & Wellness and a successful appointment booking.   This position will not experience much downtime. There is ALWAYS something to be done.    

Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred: College Degree in administrative or business field.

Experience Required: Two or more years’ experience in a retail and / or service industry, with heavy concentration on customer service and / or sales.
